Ravi Rajcoomar

Ravi Rajcoomar SC is one of Trinidad and Tobago's most distinguished legal practitioners. Called to the Bar in 1983 and appointed Senior Counsel in 2023, he brings over four decades of principled advocacy to Invictus Chambers. He appears regularly before the Magistrate's Court, the High Court, the Court of Appeal, and the Privy Council.

His practice encompasses criminal law — including murder trials, fraud, and money laundering — as well as complex commercial and land matters. He has been recognised by the Criminal Bar Association for his steadfast advocacy on behalf of clients at every level of society.

Beyond practice, Ravi Rajcoomar has served as a Commissioner of the Securities Exchange Commission, a Commissioner of the Law Commission, a lecturer at the Hugh Wooding Law School, and on several Committees of the Law Association of Trinidad and Tobago. He is also Chairman of Presidential Insurance Company.
